Automy Social Bot ("the App") is an automated messaging assistant operated by Automy.Tech. It replies to inquiries sent to a business Instagram account and records purchase orders on behalf of that business. This policy explains what the App collects, why, and how to have it deleted.

Information we collect

The App only processes information that a person sends to the connected Instagram business account, or that the Instagram Platform provides with that message:

• Instagram user ID and username of the sender
• The content of messages, story replies, and comments sent to the account
• The ID of the story or post a message replies to
• Order details the person voluntarily provides: name, phone number, delivery address, product, size, and quantity

We do not collect passwords, payment card details, or any information from a person's Instagram profile beyond their username and ID.

How we use it

• To answer questions about product price, colors, and available sizes
• To record an order and pass it to the business owner for fulfilment
• To let the business contact the customer about their order

We do not use this information for advertising, and we never sell or rent it.

Where it is stored

Messages are processed by an automation workflow hosted on our own server. Orders and customer contact details are stored in a private Google Sheets spreadsheet accessible only to the business owner and to Automy.Tech. Access is protected by account credentials and two-factor authentication.

Sharing

Information is shared only with the owner of the Instagram business account the message was sent to, so the order can be fulfilled. We use Google (Sheets) and Meta (Instagram Platform) as infrastructure providers. We do not share data with anyone else, except where required by law.

Retention

Order records are kept for as long as the business needs them for its own bookkeeping. Message content that does not result in an order is not retained beyond processing.

Deleting your data

To request deletion of your data, email elsorogyy15@gmail.com from the address you used, or send a message containing the word DELETE to the Instagram account you contacted. Include your Instagram username. All records associated with you will be removed within 30 days and you will receive confirmation.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
